| Job Description |
We are recruiting for a Litigation Executive to work within the Defendant RTA department.
The role will involve dealing with a case load of mainly fast track cases, to assist other fee earners as and when required, and to ensure the efficient operation of the practice.
The successful candidate will be required to ensure that all clients are confident that their legal affairs are dealt with in a businesslike and competent manner.
We are looking for someone who has:
* Proven fee earning experience within a Defendant RTA team/department (minimum 2 years)
* Litigation experience - minimum 2 years
* Proven experience in handling a case load of files - preferably fast track Defendant RTA cases
* Excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal
The salary will vary depending on level of experience, however the maximum for this role would be £25,000.00.
The main duties of this role are:
* To ensure that all cases are dealt with in compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules and Law Society Practice Management Standards.
* To practice good file management and ensure that cases are handled in accordance with client service standards.
* Ensure all important dates are diarised.
* Keep up to date with all correspondence and communication relating to files.
* Comply with the firm's practices and procedures.
* To assist with the efficient running of the office generally.
* In addition the employee is required to perform other responsibilities assigned by the Partnership as requested.
